Your limb will continue going through changes during the initial few months and routine progress checks are needed to adjust for those changes. These appointments help keep the prosthesis fitting optimally as the limb changes shape and as your walking comes together. Our goal is to stay ahead of these changes in order to: keep advancing your mobility, reduce potential skin issues, and keep you comfortable as possible. These appointments usually occur every two to three weeks and can help to prevent frustrating setbacks.
