Bright Prosthetics Inc. is committed to improving the lives of all amputees we provide care to. We look forward to helping you with your prosthetic care. Our focus is on the outcome of each and every patient and you will notice we take our time and we will make sure you are educated throughout the fitting process. Ultimately we make certain your prosthesis is fitting and functioning properly.

 

Bright Prosthetics utilizes a specialized prosthetic protocol and care philosophy when evaluating, designing, fitting and training our patients. We are focused on the quality of the prosthetic care and the outcomes acheived. We are a local independent practice and believe it is important to keep open communication within the interdisciplinary team.

 

Our commitment is to help you reach or exceed your personal prosthetic goals and get back to your pre-amputation lifestyle as much as possible. We are focused on restoring function and returning our amputees to an active and healthier life.

Jeff Hagman CP, LP
Founder and Certified Prosthetist

Jeff founded Bright Prosthetics in 2013 to better serve amputees in the Greater Cleveland area. He has been involved in the field of prosthetics since 2004. He began his career as a technician in a prosthetics facility in Toledo.  He later earned his Prosthetics Graduate Certificate from Eastern Michigan University in 2006.  He is an American Board-Certified Prosthetist, and a member of the American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics. He has participated in monthly amputee walking and running clinics since 2004.  Jeff's passion is to assist each amputee in achieving their individual prosthetic goals. In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife, children, road cycling, and sailing.

Marena Black 

Office Manager

Marena joined Bright Prosthetics in the fall of 2023 as the Front Office Manager, she has over 20 years of experience in both clinical and administrative roles within the medical field.  She has worked previously in O&P as a documentation specialist and she brings the necessary knowledge, compassion and desire to assist amputees in their journey.   She is trained in medical coding and billing and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Social Work.  Her role on our Bright Team is to help our new and returning amputees from the first call, gathering documentation, checking benefits, scheduling and throughout the process. 

 

When not helping amputees succeed, she is helping provide care for seniors and does private catering events.  Marena rarely sits idle and is driven to help others in any way she can.
