Once your limb has healed and the swelling has reduced your Prosthetist will take measurements, fit you with an appropriate suspension liner. A cast impression of your limb will be obtained while wearing the liner.

The casting allows your Prosthetist to capture the shape of your limb for custom fabrication of the prosthesis. During your evaluation, you will have a discussion about your daily activities. This will allow the prosthetist to fully understand your needs and assist him or her in designing your prosthesis.
